Product Description

The Fire Magic Echelon E660i brings flat-top cooking to a built-in outdoor kitchen. Its two independently controlled burners let you prepare different foods at separate heat levels across the stainless steel cooking surface.

The black-glass control panel coordinates with current Echelon outdoor cooking products. Hot-surface ignition starts the burners electronically, while back-lit control knobs make each cooking zone easy to manage. A two-piece collector trough directs grease through two openings into the removable drip pan below.

Installation Notes

This griddle must be installed by a qualified professional installer according to the Fire Magic installation manual and applicable codes. The enclosure must provide the required ventilation, clearances, drainage, gas connection, and electrical access. A grounded, weather-protected GFCI receptacle must be within reach of the supplied power cord.

Use insulating liner 3176-52 when placing the griddle in a combustible enclosure. The standard 31 1/4" W x 23 1/2" D x 11 1/2" H cutout applies only to non-combustible enclosures. Refer to the insulating-liner instructions for the opening required in combustible construction.

Can the griddle lid remain in place while cooking?

No. Fire Magic requires the stainless steel lid to be removed before operating the griddle.

Can this built-in griddle be mounted on a cart?

Yes. Fire Magic offers an optional cart base 660-SC24 for a portable installation. The cart is sold separately.

How should the cooking surface be preheated?

Fire Magic instructs users to preheat the griddle on the HI-LIGHT setting for 15 minutes and verify the cooking temperature with a surface thermometer before adding food.

Warranty Information

Fire Magic built-in griddles are covered for 10 years, excluding the ignition system and thermostat. Other griddle components are covered for three years, while ignition systems and electronic components are covered for one year. Coverage applies to the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase. Installation, operation, and maintenance must follow the Fire Magic manual. Review the current written warranty for all terms, exclusions, and claim requirements.
